Creamy Seafood Pasta


Ingredients

• A packet of dry pasta - fettucine, linguini, spaghetti it's up to u really

• 400 ml UHT whipping cream - 2 boxes of 200ml carton (u can find this at the diary product shelf in supermarkets)

• Seafood of your choice - squid, prawns, clams

• half cup Fish/seafood stock - if not available, water works just fine, and quantity really up to u (depends on the kepekatan u desire)

• One medium onion, chopped

• 2 cloves of garlic, chopped

• Button/straw mushrooms (tinned, fresh - up to you) - sliced

• quarter cup of parmesan cheese

• juice of half a lime/quarter of lemon (up to you.. if tak nak pun tak pe)

• A tablespoon of butter

• A bit of oil (preferably olive oil)

• Freshly ground black pepper

• Salt to taste

• For garnishing - fresh chillies/capsicums, deseeded & thinly sliced & some chopped parsley and shredded parmesan cheese


Instructions


1. Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the packet, or until al dente.

2. Heat the butter & oil in a pan, and fry the onions and garlic.

3. Throw some black pepper in.

4. Once the onion is translucent, put the mushrooms in the pan.

5. After that, stir in the seafood and pour the cream.

6. Pour some of the fish stock/water in. Depends on how thick you want the sauce to be.

7. Then, put in salt & black pepper to your desired taste.

8. Throw in the pasta and parmesan cheese and stir until the cream covered all the pasta.

9. Then put in the lime/lemon juice, chillies and parsley and stir for half a minute and presto!


Your pasta is ready!So, whatcha waiting for?? Try some! And it would be nicer to have it with garlic bread ( u can wipe the cream off your plate with the garlic bread, yummy!!)
